This sheepskin pillow has a small fit with a semi-circular front. As a result, it fits easily on any seat. The cushion is lined at the top with medicinal sheepskin, which has a pressure-reducing effect due to the short sheared wool. About the Texel medicinal sheepskins of Skéépe
Skéépe's Texel medicinal sheepskins are of the highest quality and are often used for joint pain or complaints caused by prolonged sitting or lying (decubitus). The sheepskins are naturally and medicinally tanned, making them soft to the skin and moderately washable for extra hygiene. In addition, the sheepskins are sheared short, creating a nice even surface of upright wool hairs. This surface has a very good cushioning effect and relieves complaints caused by pressure. The medicinal sheepskin is therefore ideally suited for use with pressure sores and bedsores.
Because the wool is breathable and moisture-regulating, it is gentle on the skin and will not scalp or smolder. The lanolin in the coat provides additional softening properties.
