These woollen socks are in melange beige and come down to the ankles. Due to the short length of the socks, they are suitable for wearing in low shoes, such as trainers, or for warmer days.
The warmest socks are the 100% Texel wool socks
Skéépe socks are made exclusively from the wool of Texel sheep. The Texel sheep is known for its good quality wool and thick wool fibre. So the wool we use is 100% Texel wool, which we are naturally proud of.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to make the socks themselves 100% wool. This is because then there is no stretch in the socks and you probably won't even be able to put them on. Therefore, we also add some viscose to the wool, which immediately gives the colour grey and beige. However, we did choose to keep the wool percentage as high as possible, which is why the wool socks still consist of 85% wool. But 100% Texels, of course!

The sheep's wool we use for the socks comes directly from sheep farmers on Texel. The sheep live with the seasons, either free in the meadow or warm among the hay in the stable. The Texel island climate has a very favourable influence on the sheep and their wool, creating a unique quality of wool that we are only too happy to use for our socks.
