Six Skéépe Sock Labels

Once you have finished knitting, you can choose the colour that looks best with your socks. The remaining labels can be saved for another knitting project.

Texel Wool from Local Farmers

The wool in this knitting kit comes from sheep raised on the Dutch island of Texel. Skéépe works with wool from local Texel farmers, giving this natural material a new purpose in products that reflect the character and origin of the wool.

The special sock yarn consists of 80% Texel wool and 20% nylon. The Texel wool provides natural warmth and a distinctive wool texture. The addition of nylon makes the yarn stronger and more durable, helping to prevent the heels and toes of your hand-knitted socks from wearing out too quickly. This creates the right balance between a natural material and lasting durability.
