These light grey socks were created from a simple idea:

The answer is a sock that is warm and comfortable, but above all honest.

Made from 100% wool, without synthetic additives. A natural combination of Texel sheep's wool and soft alpaca wool, in which each material retains its own properties.

A wool blend with its own character

The basis of these socks consists of Texel sheep's wool, as you would expect from Skéépe. We collect this wool ourselves from a number of farmers on the island. We know the origin, the people and the way the sheep live. You can't see it, but you can feel it. Alpaca wool from the Alpaca Eco Farm has been added to this Texel wool, chosen for its soft fibre and comfortable feel.

Alpaca wool makes the sock noticeably softer and gentler on the skin, while the sheep's wool provides structure and warmth. Together they form a natural balance. Not perfectly smooth, but comfortable and familiar. Exactly as wool should be.

Wool as wool is meant to be

These socks are made entirely of wool. This means that they move with your body, retain heat when it is cold and feel airy when needed. Wool breathes, regulates temperature and hardly absorbs any odours.

Wool is a natural fibre that adapts to the body and how you wear it. It adapts without losing its natural properties. This makes each sock unique, but also requires a different way of wearing and caring for it than synthetic materials. With normal use and a little extra care, they are wonderful to wear, but wool remains wool: natural, honest but not indestructible.

Daily comfort, without artificial promises

The mid-length model fits comfortably and stays in place without feeling tight. These socks can be worn in any situation, at home or on the go, in shoes or boots.

At Skéépe, we work with wool we know. The sheep's wool comes from Texel, the alpaca wool from the Alpaca Eco Farm, where care for animals and the environment is central. Together, they form a sock that fits our way of working: small-scale, local and with respect for the material.
