This light beige wool plaid is made from wool from sheep that live on Texel, in the fresh sea breeze or inside the barn when the weather requires it. After shearing, we collect the wool ourselves from a number of Texel farmers who care for their animals with great care. The island climate makes the wool thicker, fuller and stronger – and you can feel that in this wool blanket.

Measuring 140x180 cm, this wool blanket is large enough to cover a double bed or to wrap yourself in on the sofa. The fringes give it a classic finish, while the light colour blends easily into different interior styles.

Thanks to the thickness and structure of the wool, this blanket is wonderfully warm without being stuffy. Wool breathes, regulates temperature and is also naturally dirt-repellent.

At Skéépe, we work with local wool and take care of the entire process ourselves: from collecting it from the farmer to carefully sorting, washing and processing the wool into these beautiful wool throws. Everything is done with care and without artificial additives.
