These beige socks were created with a focus on materials. Texel sheep's wool and alpaca wool come together in a sock that feels warm, is comfortable to wear and is made from a conscious choice of natural fibres. No additives, no artificial materials, just wool in its natural form.

The combination of two types of wool creates a sock with a calm character, in which each fibre retains its own role.

A natural wool blend

We use Texel sheep's wool, sourced from sheep that live on the island, as a base. This wool is known for its strength and warmth. We collect this wool ourselves from various farmers, so we know where it comes from and how it was produced. Alpaca wool has been added to this base, chosen for its soft fibres and mild feel.

The alpaca wool makes the sock softer against the skin, while the sheep's wool provides structure and shape. Together they form a balanced wool blend. Not tight or smooth, but natural and familiar. Exactly as wool is meant to be.

It is no coincidence that these socks bear the phrase: When sheep meets alpaca.

Wool lives and moves with you

These socks are made entirely of wool. This means that they move with your body, retain heat when it is cold and remain airy when necessary. Wool breathes, regulates temperature and naturally absorbs little odour.

At the same time, wool requires a different way of wearing than synthetic materials. Because these socks are made of 100% wool, they are not indestructible. This is not a shortcoming, but a characteristic of a natural fibre. With normal use and a little care, they will remain comfortable to wear for a long time.

Made to wear and care for

Wool socks are meant to live. They mould to your feet and show signs of wear. Small areas of wear can be easily mended, allowing the socks to be used for a long time. That's part of wool: don't throw it away, but care for it and repair it where necessary.

The mid-length model is comfortable and stays in place without feeling tight. Suitable for everyday use, at home or on the go, in shoes or boots.

Made with care

At Skéépe, we work with wool we know. The sheep's wool comes from Texel, the alpaca wool from the Alpaca Eco Farm, where care for animals and the environment is central. Together, they form a sock that fits our way of working: small-scale, with respect for the material and its origin.
